A LITTLE BIT ABOUT WHO I AM
I am a retired teacher who lives on the Florida Gulf Coast. When summer
arrives I migrate north to enjoy life in New York’s Adirondack Mountains region.
Other than college classes designed for working with elementary aged children I have
had no formal art training. I am what is called a “self-taught serious amateur” working
in oils or acrylics. My paintings tend to be traditional. I generally work from
photographic references though I do enjoy developing a painting from imagination.
I strive to do works that are colorful and sunlit. My learning is ongoing.
I am a member of the Sacandaga Valley Arts Network. (SVAN).
My paintings are in private collections in Florida, California, Connecticut,
New Jersey, New York, Virginia and West Virginia.

OTHER INTERESTS
I am an avid collector of one of a kind miniature pieces created by
miniature artisans who work in 1/12th scale. I enjoy showcasing these
special pieces of miniature workmanship in settings I create.
The outdoors and gardening are for me. Florida winters and New York summers
let me busy myself growing things year round.
